Bioreactors for Microbial & Cell Culture-Based Production

Fermenters, or bioreactors, provide a sterile, controlled environment for the cultivation of bacteria, yeast, fungi, or mammalian cells to produce antibiotics, enzymes, vaccines, recombinant proteins, and other biologics. Precise control of temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and agitation — combined with an in-place sterilisable (SIP) design — allows reproducible, contamination-free fermentation from lab and pilot scale through full commercial production.

    • In-situ sterilisable (SIP) and clean-in-place (CIP) design with spray-ball coverage validation
    • Rushton turbine / pitched-blade agitators with baffles for optimal oxygen transfer (kLa)
    • Ring or micro-sparger for sterile air/oxygen delivery; exhaust gas condenser and filter
    • Online pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), temperature, foam, and pressure sensors with auto-control
    • Jacket or internal coil for both sterilisation heating and process cooling
    • Sample valve, sight glass with light, and addition ports for inoculum/nutrient feed
