A Lab Steam Sterilizer (laboratory autoclave) uses saturated steam under pressure to sterilise glassware, culture media, small instruments, and other heat- and moisture-stable laboratory materials. Compact bench-top or floor-standing units are widely used in QC, microbiology, and R&D laboratories where sterilisation loads are small and space is limited. A single hinged or swing-bolt door, integral electric steam generator, and microprocessor-based controller allow the unit to run standard gravity-displacement or pre-vacuum cycles with minimal operator intervention.
